Paul Preston, Managing Director of Norfolk Frames said: "It really is an honour to be able to present so many awards to our manufacturing and installation team. This kind of personal commitment from each member of our staff shows what a dedicated workforce Norfolk Frames has and I'm delighted to be able to say well done to each person individually.

"NVQs are about demonstrating practical not just theoretical knowledge. Each student has to demonstrate competence over a period of time. Our customers can be confident that the NVQ award holder can carry out their work to a national standard, approved by the Glass Qualifications Authority, and this proves the quality of our manufacturing and installation services."

"All the members of staff have worked hard towards their NVQs, and I'm very pleased they are receiving this formal recognition. At a difficult time for the economy generally, and for the construction industry in particular, Norfolk Frames recognises the importance of vocational training and we are pleased to be investing in our staff when many of those around us are reducing their levels of training".

Nick O’Brien, of Internal Verification Services Ltd, said: " I've been assessing all types of glazing candidates for IVS for five years and for other centres before that. In all my time doing this job, I have never come across a company as committed to training as Norfolk frames. The level of cooperation I received while I was assessing the staff was outstanding; the paperwork I received for each candidate in advance was marvelous; the access to all area’s I was given was 100%; where ever possible I was given every assistance I asked for, but in particular the assistance I received from the factory manager Andrew McDonnell was the key to the whole operation.

"To complete this many candidates within one organisation is simply magnificent. The GQA recognise what a feat this is, which is why Mick Clayton, the lead external verifier for the GQA, is making the presentations to the Norfolk Frames staff today".
